Looking for something new and exciting to incorporate into your artwork? Come play with Alcohol Inks and add a new tool to your art toolbox! Explore the rich, deep, and shadowy filtered colors of these gorgeous colored inks and learn how to roll, blow, run, and blend them into organic shapes using straws, brushes and rubbing alcohol. You can make intensely beautiful works of art or rich backgrounds for transfers and drawings, or use the ink to alter papers for integration into Mixed Media pieces. Whether you are a chartreuse and magenta lover or a lover of grays and amber neutrals, this quick and fun technique will allow you to incorporate intense colors into your artwork in all sorts of exciting ways! Skill Level: all skill levels welcome Pre-requisites: none Materials that the facilitator will provide: Alcohol Inks, Gelli Plate Paper, Canvas Boards, Semi-gloss soft gel medium, Yupo paper, Collage paper, Plastic Gloves, Straws Lisa will have these extra materials available for an additional $20 fee payable directly to her. Art & Soul classes are for ages 17 and up. If you would like to request an exception, please contact the studio to see if the teacher can make accommodations for younger participants.
