Friday Night Frolic is a fun class offered a few times a year, combining lightly guided exercises and games with a bit of whimsy. Led by dancer and teaching artist Amanda Roche, the class facilitates playful explorations of movement in a safe, communal, adult setting. Participation is improvisational—organic movement can be a profound and nourishing experience, as well as just plain fun! It also provides the opportunity to drop into your body, breathe deeply, and explore the canvas of space by creating your own unique movement vocabulary. If you have never tried Friday Night Frolic, please join us! No special movement or dance training is necessary, and Amanda is an encouraging, warm-hearted, and welcoming guide. Art & Soul values safety, non-judgement, and playful experimentation. Come and seek your joy. And bring a friend for an alternative to a typical Friday night out, movie night in, or date night—playful and body positive! Adults Only and participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely. If you would like to request an exception, please contact the studio to see if the teacher can make accommodations for younger participants.
