Add something personal and special to your Mixed Media works of art! Think of all the wonderful art gifts you could make with personalized images using photographs of your grandchildren, your ancestry, or landscapes from vacations, and more. The options are endless, and it’s a lot of fun. Using laser jet copies of old photographs, magazine images, previous artwork and more, Lisa will teach you this quick and easy technique, demonstrating not only how to make unique underpaintings on which to place your transfers but also how to transfer semi-transparent images onto these underpaintings or incorporate them into your Mixed Media works. This is another great tool to add to your art tool box! Skill Level: Any Prerequisites : None Materials that the teacher will provide, for which reimbursement is needed: reimbursement to Lisa if students do not bring their own Contact Paper, Soft Golden Gel Medium - Semi-gloss, and wood panels/canvas board. (Approx. $15) Materials suggested for students: Laser jet copies of personal photographs or images, detail scissors, and a wood panel or canvas board. *** Fee: $125 (Members 15% discount with coupon code at checkout) Participants should bring a sack lunch and water bottle, journal or notebook, and wear clothes for mess-making.
